Singing with Lauren is awesome! This is my first time doing singing lessons professional and Lauren and my instructor, Zoe are amazing. I was able to get my lessons set up within a couple days and did a trial/first lesson (which they give half off for) a few days later. I was a little worried it would be over Zoom, but honestly it has worked out perfectly fine and I have no complaints.
I am having a pretty good experience!! My instructor is very kind and patient!

Factors such as vocal fatigue, staying on key and trouble singing from a position of support led me to seek out vocal lessons. After completing Lauren's Starter Singing Lab, I have seen a drastic improvement in each of these areas.

I’ve been working with Teacher Kyle at Singing With Lauren for a little over a year now and I really can’t say enough good things about my experience in lessons. Kyle has so much in depth knowledge and can explain things in a great way along with utilizing great exercises to facilitate new skills. He was also able to make me feel really comfortable and at ease working with him from the very beginning, which was really important for me since I have a lot of anxiety around singing with other people. He’s really transformed my skills in a short period of time. I look forward to his lessons every week and I wish I could afford to take more lessons with him! Lauren did a great job matching me with a wonderful teacher in her studio, he had been a GREAT fit. Kyle is at *least* 11/10 (that’s right, he breaks the scale, he’s that good!)

My coach, Kyle, has worked with me weekly over Zoom and I have seen real improvements in my voice even after the first few lessons! He catered the session to our groups needs and goals, and he was very casual and educational, which was super helpful since members of our group come from a wide spectrum of musical backgrounds. By the end, we sounded so much more in sync, well-rounded and confident, the energy was radiating.

My first voice lesson with Lauren has blown my mind in a good way! I truly appreciate her comprehensive approach and great academic background. I learned interesting things about anatomy, physics of sound and solfege. We did some helpful exercises and started to work on a song that I liked. I've studied music before for several years and I can tell that Lauren is great at both explaining theories and giving practical exercises. It's helpful that she has previous experience with international students so she can understand my struggles with certain sounds (I'm from Russia). Overall, the lesson was fun, and it helped me to feel more grounded and better connected with my body for the rest of the day. I'm looking forward to the next lesson.

It is rare to find someone who is skilled at the art of teaching, the art of singing and also a wonderful professional and human being. Lauren is all of these things and the best singing teacher I've ever had. As a former teacher and a frequent consumer of coaching of a number of varieties, there are a bunch of things that wow me. One: Lauren is a skilled diagnostician. She can listen to your singing and quickly/accurately pinpoint minute physical details affecting your sound (e.g. tongue position, etc). Two: Lauren is a great listener. She tailors lessons to what I'm looking for, skillfully adjusting on the fly. Three: She is able to seamlessly weave together teaching technique and teaching songs, so you don't have to sacrifice one for the other. Four: Lauren has thought through the building blocks of what comprises singing. Building on her own knowledge from her masters degree and performance career, she's built courses on how to sing from scratch for beginners-beyond and draws on this in her teaching. Overall: I can't say enough good things about Lauren. She's devoted to teaching, learning, and performing and I give my highest recommendation of her abilities to any aspiring singer, from beginner to experienced.

I'm a late bloomer who just started to learn guitar before COVID and I have been playing and singing live to my mom's memory care unit since Christmas 2022. In a short half hour lesson I get to go over a few songs and get her immediate help with my music! (My primary musical goal is to not sound too bad.)
